The MS21042 series nut is an all metal stop nut designed for use in high temperature installations up to 450 degrees F. MS21042 non-corrosive self locking nuts are fabricated from carbon steel per specification QQ-P-416C. Alternate part numbers NAS X02 to X6 (-) are dry film lube.

MATERIAL: carbon or alloy steel, heat treated

FINISH of MS21042-6: Cadmium plate per AMS-QQ-P-416, Type II, Class 2 and molybdenum disulfide dry film lubricant per AS5272, Type I.

TEMPERATURE: 450°F

NOTES: "C" and "W" dimensions apply after self-locking action. Unless otherwise specified, surface finish 125 microinches.
